Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is an incredible free Multiplayer game and our top choice for free call of duty like game, we really liked the objective based gameplay in the multiplayer combat because it added a lot to your motivation and desire to keep playing the game over and over again. The game also runs on Linux, Mac, and PC and runs quite well on almost any computer.

#2 - F.E.A.R. Combat

#3 - Battleswarm - Field of Honor

While Battleswarm is set in the future (Call of Duty is set more in the WWII or Modern era), it is an amazing game to play, the graphics are breathtaking and the armor looks absolutely incredible. We also loved the simple 3rd person gameplay and it also allows you to play COOP and in competitive deathmatch style games that are a major blast to play. There is also a Real Time Strategy element to the game where one player can play as a commander and command a Swarm to fight you. Good times!

#4 - Project Blackout

Project Blackout is a whole lot like another cool game called Counterstrike, but a bit more fast paced so it's a bit like Counter Strike and Call of Duty mixed together, providing for one way fun game. It also features "Dino Mode" a mode similar to Zombie mode in other games but with, as you may have guessed, Dinosaurs! Worth a shot.

#5 - Battlefield Heroes

Battlefield Heroes is a free more cartoonish installment of the popular Battlefield series and is actually quite fun. The gameplay is a lot more casual and you can play people of your own skill level. You can also upgrade your equipment over time and become a stronger player. Way fun to play!

#6 - Interstellar Marines

The thing we found most interesting about Interstellar Marines is the fact that it is Browser Based, powered by the incredible new Unity Engine, this game has a lot of potential, while it's still in beta, you should check it out!
